Look with me down the archway of our lives
with our memories caught in the crowded trees,
and let us discover together the spirit that drives
our love, blowing like a powerful and lasting breeze.
There is a special welcome for you today my love;
our fortunes were set all those years ago this day.
Whether by good chance or by celestial will from above
You entered this world destined to travel my way.
When we united in marriage we promised that never
would we be divided by thought, deed or unloving word,
that we would commit to spend all our lives together
and that our devotion would endure, whatever test occurred.
So I wish you all my love today my sweet,
future happiness as well to bless your life,
and I will claim with great confidence that there is nothing to beat
the knowledge of having you as my precious, dear wife.
Look with me down the archway of our lives
