Dear Cara, it is time for a greeting.
We know we have already sent you one,
And we know it is not the same as a meeting;
But, hang on, we have not yet done.

Childish ways have now disappeared
To be replaced by a young woman of grace.
Mum and Dad must be pleased with what they have reared.
Perhaps they now have less trouble to face – joking!
So enter your world as you reach adulthood.
You have all the qualities to contribute a great deal.
We hope you live your life both how you wish and how you should.
And we love you, and want you to know how we feel.
